Things to Do in Puerto Rico

With a long list of incredible attractions, activities, tours, events and other things to do in Puerto Rico it can be difficult to narrow down the list. Below I’ve gathered 15 of my top things to do in Puerto Rico during your visit.

Free Things to Do in Puerto Rico

But the 15 tours above are not the only things to do during your visit. On a budget? That’s just fine because Puerto Rico still has lots of free things to do while you visit.

Here’s a quick list of my top 5 free things to do in Puerto Rico!

  1. Take a self-guided tour of the area you’re visiting. Nowadays you can absolutely google your area and find the historical, cultural, and top places to see or better yet roam the area and google as you stumble on hidden gems.

  2. Grab a drink, soak up the sun and visit the beach…any beach. Puerto Rico has hundreds, yes hundreds of beaches to visit like Rincón, Playa Pastillo, Ocean Park, Condado, Carolina Beach, Vieques, Crash Boat Beach, Culebra, Luquillo Beach, Sun Bay and Peña Blanca to mention a few.

  3. Hike El Yunque National Forest.

  4. Discover local stores around Calle del Cristo and others.

  5. Enjoy the art world from museums to galleries and even the street art.
