What is tmd Escapes?
tmd Escapes, a certified full-service luxury travel agency here to elevate your travel experiences through individualized planning & maximized perks that create a lifetime of memories. We provide private planning, curated group, and specialty escapes.

Why should we book with a travel advisor?
We help make planning seamless and stress-free. By booking with us, you have access to exclusive rates and negotiated perks available only to travel advisors. Additional benefits include connection, expertise, added value, and peace of mind.
How does the planning and booking process work?
Tmd Escapes, is a luxury travel consultancy, and we charge fees for our services. Rates vary based on the assistance needed and are dependent on the number of travelers, destination, length of stay, and complexity of the trip and start at $100. At the beginning of the trip planning process, we invoice for services selected and request a signed travel agreement.
Booking is easy and seamless. From your initial inquiry to the discovery call and booking we handle all aspects you require. Here’s how it works:
- Complete our travel inquiry form telling us about your upcoming escape and how we can help.
- Next, a discovery call with your designer to see if we’re a fit for each other.
- After you secure your planning option we’ll begin designing the getaway of your dreams.
- You’ll review the travel plan and revise anything if needed.
- Your custom escape is finalized and secured.
- Let the countdown begin!!
- You’re off! Enjoying your dream getaway.

Is there anything we can not book?
tmd Escapes unfortunately is not able to assist with
- Companion pass flights
- Flight credits, miles, or points
- Hotel points
- Airbnb or VRBO however we do book villas and private properties through our trusted partners
How can I join the tmd Escapes team?
Currently, we are looking to welcome various interns to the team. Only 2-3 Internships are available each Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions for university credit.

Bookings
What is the minimum booking age?
We require all guests to be at least 18 years old to book any services. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a lead booker 18 years and over.
What types of trips do you plan?
We’re a full-service agency booking almost anything you can think of. We can book staycations, accommodations, transportation, activities, restaurants, entertainment, and more.
If it’s on a map we can plan it but we love elevating bucket list escapes, entertainment event trips, solo adventures, group trips, romantic encounters, girls’ getaways, culinary indulgence, spa escapes, milestones, and corporate/retreats.
I want to travel solo, can you help?
I Of course! Be it a solo getaway, family trip, bachelorette, couples, girls (or boys) trip we are here to help. Making the planning process smooth and your dream trip enjoyable.
What are the benefits of booking hotels with tmd Escapes?
Booking with us means special extras for YOU! You’re immediately provided VIP access and perks such as welcome treats, breakfast, room upgrades, credits, and more.
Do you book villas or private properties?
We have the best network of villas and rental properties around the world. Booking with us gets you access to trusted partners and exclusive private listings. We do not work with rental websites such as VRBO or Airbnb and only use accredited brokers.
Payments, Cancellations, & Refunds
How much should I budget for my trip?
Trips budgets vary greatly due to the number of travelers, destination, duration, and additional factors. However, we generally recommend a minimum of $500 per night, per room.
Please note, tmd Escapes specializes in premium travel working with most 4-5 star & ultra luxe properties and partners.
How much do I have to pay upon booking?
Required payments vary based on trip total and days prior to departure.
I already have hotels booked. Can you help plan experiences and logistics?
We are happy to provide “takeover booking” or concierge services for experiences, restaurants, spas, and logistics. However, we do encourage each client to book their complete travel experience with tmd Escapes to provide a seamless travel experience.
Do you provide breakdown pricing for comprehensive trips?
Only a single complete trip price is provided. Per our confidential supplier contracts, we are not permitted to provide pricing for each component of your trip. If you wish to remove any component(s) of your trip, We are happy to update your trip proposal and price accordingly.
What if I plan a trip but decide to go in a different direction?
You can change your trip plan as many times as you like. Because the work we do involves custom trip planning, the time spent on your trip is uniquely yours. Starting from scratch is possible, but it will require another trip-planning fee
Do you offer payment plans?
Currently, tmd Escapes does not offer any payment plans.
Are refunds available?
Due to the nature of what we do all service fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
What if I need to cancel my trip?
Cancellation costs vary depending on which suppliers are involved in your trip and when you cancel. Cancellation policies will be communicated in your proposal.
Preparations
Do you offer travel insurance?
Yes! Travel insurance is highly recommended. A quote will be provided for you once the final trip price is determined. We are not sellers of insurance. Instead, we partner with insurance providers out of convenience for our clients. Travel insurance provides coverage for cancellation for specifically defined reasons, as well as coverage for medical expenses, travel delays, baggage loss, etc.
Can you help with booking flights?
Of course! Our air desk has extensive knowledge of airlines and routes no matter how complex or big your group and provides 24-hour customer support.
